Wow, where do I even start with Tarmina? The view from our hotel's restaurant was absolutely breathtaking! Sipping a cappuccino in the morning while soaking it all in was such a delightful and relaxing experience!

This was the view from my hotel room. Mt Etan gave us a show every day.

Absolutely! This is the stunning location where 2 of The White Lotus was filmed, but Taina offers so much more! Picture yourself enjoying serene and breathtaking views while leisurely strolling with a delicious gelato in hand.

Welcome to our restaurant in Taormina! While it's not technically a family-run establishment, we do share the same last name.

We toured Taormina's remarkably situated ancient Greek theater, which is still used today for open-air performances.

The Last Stop - Catania

Catania, be sure to explore the Museum of the WWII 1943 Landings in Sicily (Museo dello Sbarco Here, you'll discover how, nearly a year before D-Day, Allied troops engaged in a fierce battle while simultaneously liberating their adversaries.

Travel TiP: Pack Light

Rick is spot on when he says to pack light! If you have a chronic overpacker in your family like I do, take his advice to heart. Trust me, even if your suitcase has wheels it can't handle those charming cobblestone streets, steep hills, and hotels with stairs. We may not have had to tackle stairs, but with all that luggage, it sure felt like it 😉
